Michael Kors will launch Island Bermuda, the fifth fragrance in his Island series (see Island, Island Fiji, Island Hawaii, Island Capri), this coming December.
The “breezy floral” was developed by perfumers Loc Dong (who also worked on the original Island fragrance) and Jean Marc Chaillan; the notes include freesia, hibiscus, watery green notes, cassis buds, tiare, peony, orange blossom, jasmine, passion flower, driftwood, soft skin accord and cedar.
Michael Kors Island Bermuda will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum and matching body products. (via wwd)

Oh, I really hope this is wearable – my mom spent time in Bermuda as a young woman and this would be fun to get for nostalgic reasons.

OH HOW LOVELY! I ADORE ALL THINGS MICHAEL KORS!!!! and this Bottle is just too much pretty! Love the Island Fragrances (although again, I wish he'd concentrate on an Original IP rather than the se flankers, as lovely as they are, they are still kinda irritating!) Just Adore Tiare and Passion Flower! add My beloved Freesia to the mix and Cassis, well…. Sounds like Magic! Am already waiting EAGERLY for this one!
There's an Island Capri? Geezlouise when's THAT coming here, let alone Island Bermuda… *grumblegrumble*

I loved Hawaii. But Capri was awful IMO, you're really not missing anything, lol.
Bermuda is kind of close to me. For that sake, I hope this one is good, lol.
I liked one of them but never figured out if it was Hawaii or Fiji. Might have been Hawaii, who knows! Capri was pleasant but dull, to me.
I have liked them All (Fiji is truly exceptionally well done) and I personally LOVED Capri. But the Original Island is the very best of the Bunch, Oceanic, Ozonic and Creamily Floral as well! When i first Smelled it (the Original Island Michael Kors) I thought it was the perfect reprensentation of the colour BLUE! It feels so Blue and Refreshing and still Sensual! I hope though in the near Future we get a NEW Michael Kors scent that has nothing to do with his Original Fragrance or Island… I'd Love to nose a Fragrance for him! I can already Imagine it in my head……..
There is something else coming called Michael Kors Very Pretty, but it seems to be a flanker to the original Michael Kors signature scent.
I have not purchased any of the Michael Kors fragrances, however, I came across an Island Bermuda sample page in my new Lucky Magazine. Bermuda is practically my second home after 37 visits to the island and this really does capture the essence of the island. This will be my Holiday/Birthday gift to me.
When and where will it be available?
It is supposed to launch next month, but I think these often appear early. In the US, it will probably be in Nordstrom & Sephora, maybe other department stores as well. Michael Kors also sells online through the brand website.
I will keep an eye out for official launch, especially since we just got a new Nordstrom here in Pittsburgh. Now I don't have to travel to get to one !!!
I was at Nordy's Fragrance Festival – and they had it – but they had zero info on the notes. It was VERY nice. Extremely wearable – and I teetered with getting it. But felt like it was too daytime – and I was looking for evening.
I will try and get samples to try out on my skin.

Just received this one in the mail today. I like it better than Fiji and Capri, but not as much as Hawaii. This is a nice, light summer scent. From best to worst, I would say Hawaii, Bermuda, Capri, Fiji.
Did not smell Bermuda, but totally agree that Hawaii was the best (of what I smelled).
The new Allure w/ Taylor Swift mentions the new Island Palm Beach. Grapefruit, tangerine, jasmine, and vanilla oh my! It sounds good to me. : )
