Fall? Bah, humbug. I'm a summer person. The best thing I can say about fall is that at least it isn't winter yet. Here are some of the fragrances I like to wear while counting the days until spring…
CB I Hate Perfume Burning Leaves: I can't think of any other scent that so perfectly captures what fall ought to smell like. As I said when I reviewed it, it is “calming and invigorating at the same time”, and it layers beautifully with all kinds of other things. To stick with the autumn theme, layer it with Gathering Apples (from the same brand).
L'Artisan Navegar: I think of Navegar as the fall version of L'Eau de L'Artisan…

Sarah Jessica Parker will launch a new trio of fragrances called The Lovely Collection. According to the actress, Dawn, Endless and Twilight were designed to provide “a little glimpse into my world, something that was genuine and relatable — very specific moments, treasures of time”.
Dawn is a soft floral developed by perfumer Stephen Nilsen…

Versace Pour Homme
Donatella Versace asked perfumer Alberto Morillas to make Versace’s new men’s fragrance simple and “precise” and she seemed pleased with the result and said: “When I smell the scent, it reminds me of my father because my father wore neroli.,” (Women’s Wear Daily, 1/18/08). That’s all well and good, but Ms. Versace took her fragrance brief a step further and asked that the scent “suit a self assured and, above all, attractive man.” (Cosmetics International, 3/21/08) I’m definitely cute enough to wear this, but other guys out there may want to consider having their hair cut, shaving, getting a facial and back wax, etc., before venturing to buy Versace Pour Homme…
