i got a quick wiff of a 2 of these

the cherry blossom and rose one smelled a bit cheap to me, as though it was poorly blended

the white tea one was very very simple, but very pleasant!

I never really had much luck with the Avon perfumes. A few scents I really liked (can't remember the name of one in particular, but it was discontinued years ago. I really loved it, though). My issue is that they just don't last on me. Within an hour or so, they are totally gone. Anyone else have a similar problem or is it me?

I haven't smelled an Avon perfume in years, so I'm not going to be any help, sorry!

    Dearest Robin

I confirmed that there is an Avon store 2 blocks from my home in Buenos Aires.

They already have the Lacroix-es and they are very nice.

I will look for these 3 when they are available.

p.s.: I received the 888, it is very good (not great) but it does smell classy, saffron-y (but in a good, perfume-y way, not in a Paella by the fire way).

I think a man can use it without any problems, but in a woman's skin (a coworker tried it) it morphs into a better fragrance.

    Regards!

    P.

I've heard the Lacroix scents are nice. I wish Avon would open stores here — the “personal representative” model is so old-fashioned.

Agree on 888 — good, but not great. Have only given it one quick try though, and will certainly give it a few more shots.

Flor, your right! it does look like Chanel Chance… What are the notes? Avon fragrances are known not to last but then again what do you expect for $13?
