I love the smell of it when you first spray it – it's quite fruity. when it dries tho it's completely different; the only way I can think to describe the smell is like it's one part of a perfume or a perfume that's unfinished!?! maybe it's just my skin, but i wish the overall smell was how it is initially.

Not horrible, but not very unique either.

It's like sticking your nose into a bag of jelly babies. Very light; good for summer. Lasting power is quite poor.

Pretty bottle & pink juice.

That's why I freakin LOVE You, Robin! I love how I can come onto this blog and get an unbiased review on a celebrity's fragrance. Most perfume blogs call themselves reviewing the celeb's fragrance, but they're really reviewing the celeb's personal life. I can really come on here and get a real unbiased review from you. I trust your nose more than my own sometimes.

It is true that someone did say others hate her, but nobody here said they hated her. And have to disagree — don't see why designing clothes makes you any more qualified to “design” perfume than anyone else, and in fact, most designers simply hire creative directors who then work with the perfumers. It isn't much different than how it works with celebrities.

Someone did say, before my previous long comment, how strange that some hate her. Really how strange.

Anyway, Armani is a designer himself. Perfumes aren't completely unconnected. It's natural he'd emplay experts for it though. Though it would be best if the perfumers did get the main credit.

But why would you name a perfume after yourself if you have no connection whatsoever with any kind of design?

There are definitely people I admire, but I don't need their names on my perfumes. But as far as I know they have better things to do.

There's a thread referring to Helen Mirren along the same lines.

Would agree w/ that. Still, some of these celeb scents just seem comical — I mean, it's as though some designer that only had clothing in K-Mart had a perfume, you know? Although some such designer probably does have a perfume…

What makes a Designer more qualified to do a perfume? The only person who should be praised for “The art oe perfumery” should be the people who actually work on the fragrance. Armani didn't do anything different than Paris Hilton. Please explain the difference.
