Hmm. plum, marzipan, heliotrope… does sound like it may well achieve that wintry feel. Interesting – most (I can't think of an exception, actually) Christmas scents either revolve around pine/fir or spiced fruit (apple, orange, clove, cinnamon). Looking forward to trying it out.

J Lo generally has better celeb scents than most — could be nice!

I guess I'm traditional, I tend to envision Holiday Frags as more like LM Nuits Enchantées.

Actually … :-) to overuse that word again, this sounds pretty decent. And assuming I don't get beaten to death by cherry cough syrup, could be kinda nice.
I just bought a bottle of Live for my niece. Should I be horsewhipped?

Anything gingerbready or orange w/ spices is fine with me…

Ok – how many Live fragrances will JLo launch? what – Deseo didn't do too well? Poor Jenny. Why is there like millions of versions of this perfume?

I forgot to mention that I gave away my Deseo bottle away for free (to a friend).

Also Robin, we're nearing October. Any word on Paris Hilton's Fairy Dust? No notes or anything yet?

Wow, I am way behind – I didn't even know she had a range called Live – and am only dimly aware of her various Glows!

Everytime I go to Macys they're almost sold out of Deseo. My Macy's said they're selling very well. They always have to re-stock

It's naughty how excited about this I am, but that's mainly because I loved Live Luxe so much.

    …….
    I have no taste. -_-

I can't believe I'm writing this, but the description sounds good. I'm quite willing to do anything for a “typical” winter scent these days, especially if it's cheap.
But I'd like to ask for a few names with the typical winter notes too. Pine, apple, orange, cinnamon …
There was an Aqua Allegoria along these lines, but it's discontinued of course.

Orange & spices: i Profumi di Firenze Spezie de Medici.

Gingerbread: Parfumerie General Un Crime Exotique.

Pine: Borsari Corteccia di Pino, CB I Hate Perfume The Fir Tree or Winter 1972.

aha! found it in a drug store on my last day in NYC. It's a nice, casual winter scent. I had to buy it unsniffed & was pleased when I got back to the UK this morning.

It's quite fruity, but not too sweet on me.

Thanks — I haven't seen it yet, but haven't looked in drugstores.
