Bond no. 9 will release the third fragrance in their Andy Warhol series, Lexington Avenue, in August. The scent is named for an apartment in Murray Hill that Warhol sublet from a friend in 1953.
The floral woody chypre scent was developed by perfumer Claude Dir; the notes include blue cypress, fennel, cardamom, pink peony, iris, crème brûlée, pimento berry, patchouli and sandalwood.
Bond no. 9 Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue will be available in 50 and 100 ml. The bottle design features a shoe collage (according to CBS News, Andy Warhol had a “thing for shoes”), and there will also be limited edition bottles with silver shoe necklaces (as shown) by Robert Lee Morris. (via wwd)

AHHHH! I am one of those who absolutely adores Silver Factory, so I cannot wait to try this one. I also adore creme brulee. And iris. And patchouli. I'm a little worried about the fennel, but other than that, gimme gimme gimme!!! Do you know if it will be “exclusive” to Saks or something at first?

I'm giddy! The notes sound wonderful and the bottle is to die for!
I would not get the one with the dangling shoes unless they are detachable to wear on a neck chain!

P, I think the way it works is that if you get the special bottle, you get 1 necklace w/ a single shoe pendant — so don't think it is exactly like what you see in the picture.
And did not know of RLM, but even having spent 15 minutes on his website last night, the MKA Olsen does seem like a very weird partnership.
As a shoe fanatic, I must have this bottle, no matter what it smells like. The notes sound like a hopeless hodgepodge, but who knows, maybe I'll like it. Loved Silver Factory.
