Wow the entire Zoo was invited for this video. I think that the model somehow fits well between all those animals, he is not to clean and does not look too much like a city-guy.

The element of surprise, the bottle, comes out a bit as a disappointment.

Much more impressive than the print ad! That must have a been expensive (re-creating the jungle, planting trees, bringing the zoo/trainers/etc.)…

The model is much more attractive with hair (which is not seen in the print ad)…wonder what jungle men are going to smell like…

Will be interested to see the final commercial & figure out what they've done with all those animals! He does seem like a good fit.

    Agreed!

The scent itself did not sound very “jungle” though.

Man, I bet this commercial cost quite a bit, what with all the animals and the recreating of a jungle and all…
You know, if the actual fragrance smells anything like what this commercial seems to reflect (feral, animalic), then it could be interesting. But… this is the one with the “mojito accord,” right? It seems rather incongruous.

Yep, it's supposed to be “fresh” :-)

Fresh doesn't really work in the jungle, though. D=

    Oh well. Their choice.

Watching how a commercial is made just totally destroys any of the fantasy that I feel when I watch the commercial!! Its so orchestrated…..I don't want to see that! Just give me the fantasy. Of course, he was real e-z on the eyes. Liked him alot. If the fragrance smells like he looks, you can keep all the animals and just show him!

I agree with you entirely…I'm very surprised at how many brands are doing these “making of” films lately. If nothing else, it makes it entirely clear to what extent the fragrance itself is entirely besides the point.

LOL — you give Guerlain money. Then you smell good.
