So it is not surprising if like many other brands, they are no longer planning to export their whole line to the US. My last bottle of Ecume has not held up well. I thought about replacing it, but decided not to -- I have too many bottles already and don't want to take a chance that the next bottle will not stay fresh. You know, the Rosine line is getting really large, and the $, as we all know, is in the toilet. I panicked a bit, and then checked in with Aedes, who had plenty of bottles in stock (one of which is now mine). They told me it was still being made, but only in France. But when I asked them whether or not that meant they would continue to carry it they sort of shrugged and got cagey. "For a long time we didn't have any, and then we got a shipment." (??) At any rate, it doesn't seem worth wailing about quite yet, but I wondered if you'd heard anything. I know it's one of your favorites. Just can't deal with the melons. I wonder if the new mimosa note is going to take the place of melons, the original is rather nice, airy and fresh, but ugh that cloying melon note ruins everything.
