Diesel Fuel For Life Unlimited, Perry Ellis For Men ~ new fragrances

Diesel Fuel For Life Unlimited For Women OnlyDiesel will launch the first flanker to 2007′s Fuel for Life this coming September. Fuel For Life Unlimited For Women Only hopes to “draw a slightly older consumer of around 30″.

Fuel For Life Unlimited is a gourmand fruity floral developed by perfumers Jacques Cavallier, Olivier Cresp and Harry Frémont. The notes feature lemon, mandarin, licorice, anise and white florals.

Diesel Fuel For Life Unlimited will be available in 30 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette. (via cosmeticnews) Update: additional notes include pear, guava, violet, aloe, sambac jasmine, lily and sandalwood, and the scent was inspired by “the Roaring Twenties”. (via moodiereport)

Perry Ellis For Men 2008Perry Ellis has launched their first fragrance under new licensing arrangements with Falic Fashion Group, Perry Ellis For Men.

Perry Ellis for men is a “synthesis of traditional and modern”, and features marine, woody, fruity and vanilla notes.

Perry Ellis for Men is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products. (via fashionmag.fr) It can be found at selected Macy’s stores, although not as yet online.

Update: according to the Perry Ellis website, “This fragrance opens with a green apple accord and dries down to a compelling blend of amber, black patchouli and warm woods. Succumb to its infinite charm, then embrace its uniqueness.”

Another update: additional notes for Perry Ellis for Men include ozone accord, bergamot, orange flower, white lavender, rose, violet and cinnamon. (via wwd)

    Around 30 is slightly older? Now that makes me feel good! @#$%ards!

    The initial Fuel for Life smelled ghastly and I saw accessories being marketed with it – like bottle jackets and pendants. After the consumer has finished dressing up her Barbie and mobile phone, there must be something left to dress, right?

    I did not care for the original, but lots of people really liked it. But seriously, for perfume marketers, 30 is OVER THE HILL, LOL…

    Well, of course, beyond 30 we just douse ourselves in rosewater and soap to kill the awful smell of decay…

    I think they need a flanker for the women's probably 'cos the original did quite poorly in comparison to the men's.

    Does that look like a little golden bracelet or necklace wrapped round the lid? Maybe it's a detachable accessory a la JLo Glow.

    i tried unlimited at sephora today and i rather liked it! definately far better then the original! i love the bottle! all i get is the lemon and licorice which i love! yet another scent i think i might need!
