Her and Nicole's aloof too good for the rest of humanity attitude are just not sensual enough. Too airey fairy. The name Angel may evoke transcendence and all things ethereal, but it is a thoroughly intoxicating, sensual, and voluptuous fragrance that Ms. Watts just doesn't embody. Ugggghhhhh. The Mugler "Angel" seems to me the angels among us, the ones that we meet and then disappear after changing our lives; not some antiquated notion of detached goodness remote from the human species. Now she could pull off Alien quite well. I would have loved to see a warmer and sexier face for this campaign, someone really of an earthy sensuality with a lot of strength, perhaps even a black woman who literally embodied the rich decadent chocolate notes and sweetness of this one of a kind masterpiece. Mary J. Blige. Much better. And she herself is one of a kind, so it would have been a marriage made in . . . that's right: Heaven. As much as I love Angel, this choice is just so wrong.
