Baby Doll came out around the start of The Great Fruit Rush, and I became addicted. If I smelled it now I might dismiss it out of hand. Not that there's anything wrong with fruity scents. If it really is sweeter than In Love Again (do you agree?) then it isn't going to be my favorite, but totally agree that there is no reason to stop wearing ANYTHING because of your age -- everybody should wear what makes them happy. I love BD. I love the freshness, the unique bottle, the first spray of the grapefruit and passion fruit that mingle and make me feel optimistic and *youthful*. I love how it changes into a soft floral, freesia I believe, in the original --and just a hint of warmth.*and* I get tons of compliments. There is a stripper bar here called Babydolls, but I don't think any one there is 12. No, it's not a very sophisticated fragrance, but it is a cult favorite. And I love the pet name "Baby Doll' especially when I'm feeling cuddly. It reminds me of Benefit's Maybe Baby. I have expensive niche frags. and commercial ones.
