Yves Saint Laurent Cinema Scenario d’ete ~ new perfume

Yves Saint Laurent Cinema Scenario d'Ete fragranceYves Saint Laurent has launched a new limited edition summer flanker for 2004′s Cinéma fragrance for women. Cinéma Scénario d’été is…

Time out in the shade of a palm tree, in the burning hot summer sun.

A sparkling harmony of fresh, sunkissed notes, lit by the tang of Mexican lime and the radiant sensuality of ylang-ylang, for a glamorous and seductive woman.

The notes include lime, ylang ylang and amber.

Yves Saint Laurent Cinéma Scénario d’été is available in 90 ml, concentration unknown, for €52.40. Not sure if this one will be exported to the United States, but guessing not. (via ysl-parfums, cosma-parfumeries)

Re: the concentration, it's an Eau de Toilette and only available in that strength.

I figured as much, since is is an Eau d'Ete, but could not find it online.

It is not a favorite of mine, but I know lots of people love it. The US version of the YSL website doesn't even list it anymore, so don't know if it did well here or not.

The notes in this sound nice (lime! yay!) but I'm not sure about mixing lime and amber. I tried the original and it smelled EXACTLY as if I had dumped a full ashtray on myself. I have no idea why.

i didn't like the original cinema…it was so damp and foggy. this sounds like an interesting combo, though. is there no hope of a us debut?

No idea if it will come to the US, so wouldn't say no hope, but the Opium flankers will not be imported this year and so wouldn't be surprised — the $ is so terrible that it might not be worth YSL's bother.

I just noticed that Beauty Encounter has it – the regular stores don't seem to be selling it but the discounters have it. I may give it a whirl unsniffed as I really like the original Cinema.

Yep, looks like the discounters are the only way now to get some of the YSL flankers. Hope it works for you…shame there's no way to try it first.
