It does smell like lily-of-the-valley on steroids to my nose, though. I really enjoy the scent of them carried on the air in my garden, but in fragrance form I think it's a slightly scary flower, to be honest. As for the lily potion, I'm not sure it will wear well on my skin. White notes often turn sour on me and when they don't, the result is something transcendentally ethereal...which is WAY too much for me to live up to. Seriously, though, I like the dry duskiness of magnolia notes, so "Inside Delight" might turn out to be something I'd appreciate. Although, quince and kumquat--similar smelling--often turns my stomach (kumquat reminds me of rotting tuberose and melon). Anyhow, Robin, we're a rowdy bunch on these comment boards. We drop our suitcases anywhere we like, expect to be served dinner well after 8pm, never stop with the annoying anecdotes (I speak only for myself, of course) and then complain over the meal.
