Bunch o' limited edition collector bottles 2008, part 2

Here are a few of the limited edition collector fragrance bottles that have launched since I posted Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2008, part 1 earlier this month. In most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be). Also note that a few of these may not be available in the US.

At Neiman Marcus, an Yves Saint Laurent Elle charm: “This bag accessory features an elle Yves Saint Laurent solid perfume and a fuchsia pearly lip gloss to customize a bag or a belt with absolute glamour”. $56.

L'Homme Yves Saint Laurent design by Jean NouvelAnd also from Yves Saint Laurent, the “L’Homme Yves Saint Laurent design by Jean Nouvel” limited edition, designed by architect Jean Nouvel. It is hard to make out in this tiny picture, but “resembles an upturned test tube, which sits on a black hexagonal base, while a green float bearing the YSL logo bobs on the scent’s juice”. Ok? It goes on sale in March, in 90 ml. (via Women’s Wear Daily)

Thierry Mugler Angel Magic Star
At Nordstrom, the Thierry Mugler Angel Magic Star, a limited edition refillable bottle whose “diamond facets shimmer with light from every angle to highlight the heavenly scent of Angel”. $87.

Pucci Vivara Roll-on perfume
At Sephora, Pucci Vivara in a wee but cute roll-on with a matching case. 10 ml Eau de Parfum, $39. Actually not sure if this one is a limited edition or not, it might be a permanent addition to the line.

Boucheron Jeweler Edition 2008Last year, Boucheron launched a “Parfums de Joaillier” set of limited editions; this year, they’re doing a similar set: collector bottles of Boucheron (shown) and Miss Boucheron, decorated with designs inspired by oriental mythology. In 100 ml Eau de Parfum. (via cosmoty.de)

Well, that YSL looks like *something*, but it's not a test tube.
And the Pucci is so adorable it makes me wish I liked the scent.

it took me a minute (I dont know how) but I see what you mean now.

Quite frankly – that thing could only appear “Macho” to homosexual men.

    there, I said it.

And how true! – that Pucci is so cute that Im going to give Vivara another shot even though I despised it the first time.

Quite cute the YSL charm. Dior also has a charm pending on a necklace. It is a silver colored ball with little lines of strass stones and with a shade of lipgloss inside. There are two shades to choose from. This is from last year but still a nice little thing to own.

Robin, Chanel also has a solid perfume (I think it is Coco Mademoiselle) in a nice 'golden' compact.

Can't make anything out of that YSL 'thing' for men.

Mark David, I keep re-trying the Vivara — that packaging is perfect. But no dice.

Dior's charm is adorable, wish they'd put perfume in it. And agree on the Chanel as well — and yes, it is Coco Mademoiselle.
