It is true, the Blu Mediterraneo packaging is NOT exciting or even niche/luxury-like.

It's the Acqua di Parma house bottle. They pretty much all look like that.

I wonder about how this fragrance will be different from Fico Di Amalfi, that one has lemon too.I would sure love a version of Fico Di Amalfi without the sand and water notes. And the bottle, while I love Love the collor and shape, the blue cap got stuck inside the see through lid soon after I bought it,couldn't get it out, maybe my bottle was defective.

I hadn't really thought of returning since there's nothing wrong with the fragrance… but it does bother me that the bottle is ruined.I contacted them today and they are willing to give me a replacement. Thanks so much for the suggestion!

don't judge a book by its cover hahaha

it reminds me of sunblock or something of that “casual” nature – hinting at the Mediterranean beach feel maybe?

The almond one in this line (Blu Mediterraneo) is really nice, especially as there seems to be a distinct lack of almond perfumes for marzipan addicts like myself.

I agree about the bottles, they're a bit pants aren't they.

I am not a huge almond fan myself, but I know lots of people love it. The funny thing about the bottles is they recently redesigned them, and I think they made them uglier than they already were.
