In perfumery terms, JCE seems to me to be the next step in Roudnitska's approach, Mona di Orio is working in an entirely different mode. And thanks! There is absolutely no logic to my next comment but there you go. As a pupil of Roudnitska's her perfumes have been (to my nose) surprisingly dense. I like Nuit Noire but it is borderline unpleasant for the first 20 minutes. Must admit I like the sound of this - no pink pepper or litchee or peony! Will sniff with interest.
