Mandy Aftel on the radio

Home Grown, a public radio show about gardening, talks to perfumer Mandy Aftel of Aftelier as part of a show about “Fragrance in Flowers & Natural Perfumes”:

HomeGrown starts making scents this week with visits to a woman who makes perfume, and a man who studies fragrant flowers. The perfume maker is Mandy Aftel of Aftelier Perfumes, a California company which still uses botanical extracts and essences in its artisanal creations. Vermont extension specialist Dr. Leonard Perry talks about the amazing variety of fragrances in the garden, and their impacts on humans and insects.

You can listen to the show here. Mandy Aftel comes on about a third of the way through the show. Thanks to Anya for the link!
