My favorite scent is VS Body which is classy, original and on the opposite side of the scent category from fruity. They used to release more sophisticated fragrances for adults, not children. (I shouldn't go on Ebay; I have to 'win' whatever I've seen). It's nothing like what I thought it would be like. Lots of light florals & amber. It is by Jean-Paul Guerlain. The olfactory family is called "Fresh Gourmand" and it has orange, bergamot and lime, rose and jasmine, vanilla and powdery iris notes. While never a fan of Shalimar, I could always truly understand why it has its devotess. I preferred the new Shalimar Light but still found it too "Shalimary". BUT this Eau de Shalimar is right up my alley due to the lime! I really like it! Dyed-in-the-wool Shalimarites will prefer their extract to this but younger people will probalby like the new Eau de Shalilmar.
