Kerry Katona Outrageous ~ new fragrance

Kerry Katona will be joining the celebrity fragrance parade in the UK this coming May (US readers: if you want to know who she is, here is her Wikipedia entry). Her debut fragrance, Outrageous, is meant to be “sexy but beautiful” with a “real ‘phwoar factor’” (and for readers who don't know the term phwoar, the BBC will happily explain it to you). Britney Spears looks a sweethart compared to Kerry Katona.

    K.K.'s lifestory is miserable.

Brit was born into a life of privilege, had it all and blew it. (I have little sympathy for her)

This girl looks like she was doomed from the get go! Why on earth is she doing a perfume? Well, clearly for her it's for the money – but why would anyone want to emmulate her? So confused.

Yes, I feel uneasy about it too. People just take more advantage of her. Wonder if she has anything to say in the whole process.

And agree with you, she had the worst start a person could have. That name Outrageous is so cynical.

Who will make the most money in the end? Not her I guess.

This whole thing stinks, even before any fragrance has been launched.

Surprise surprise, Robertet are behind this Z-list celebrity fragrance too!
I personally find Kerry Katona very off-putting and a bit grotesque but this makes me even more intrigued as to what her fragrance will smell like! In the UK, she's currently the “brand ambassador” for Iceland which is a chain of budget supermarkets which specialise in cheap frozen convenience food.
I always thought that fragrance launches were hugely expensive and time consuming affairs, but the frequency with which these “straight to Superdrug” scents are launching in the UK makes me realise that creating fragrances probably a few thousand pounds and 2 weeks these days.
In fact, Robin you could send a brief to Robertet for a Nowsmellthis scent and I'm sure you'll have something by the New Year!

Perhaps Robertet has opened a branch in some UK mall frequented by B-list celebrities, LOL…

I can't believe that a woman who smokes, drinks & takes drugs while pregnant is being given this opportunity.

Her waste-of-space husband has no doubt spent the money already.

Victoria B. never smiles or laughs on photographs. I wonder why that is..

    lol…

I am in London, and honestly don't really get the celebrity thing here… Kerry's Iceland advert was awful….

just curious how's Jordon (Katie Price) doing over in US? I read in some crappy magazine that her fragrance were bestseller here, I have not tried any of them but apparently people do love her here…

Oh, they're not selling it here, and would be very surprised if they ever did. Really don't think anyone here has heard of her.

OMG; Google the bottle. It’s the ugliest thing ever.

“It's meant to reflect her spirit and all the outrageous things she's done and all the lies that have been written about her”.

Here are the scent notes; Lemon, orange, rose, amber, vanilla and patchouli. They must be the most overused notes ever…

The bottle cap sort of cracks me up. Keep meaning to announce it, will try to do that this week.
