There are too many luxe/multiple releases this year, and too few of them were worth getting excited about. I've run out of steam. Looking back, Chanel really did it right in the sense that they released tons of information and got lots of press. And, they priced the scents reasonably. Something like this, with these little terse descriptions, no info on the noses, and the huge dollar amounts, I can't get excited about. For their 60th, they should have done a coffret w/ Dior Dior, Diorling & Diorama. Admittedly I was not too hopeful even before that. Gisele is too closely associated in my mind w/ Victoria's Secret for me to think I want to fork over close to $400 for a floral scent created w/ her in mind. If the scents are brilliant (actually, they'd better be beyond brilliant for that money), of course, I will consider it, but I'm also definitely odd man out in that I don't care for the bottles. I'm not really into color when it comes to high end bottles (except for that black Nina Ricci, which I adore). Anyway, I'm no longer exactly waiting w/ bated breath for their release.
