Daisy is absolutely wonderful; the dry down is soft but somehow it lasts on me all day……..got a great deal for layering at Marshall’s! The whole set with two minis, the 3.4oz bottle and the lotion for $59 bucks. Definitely a smelling great investment. Love it.

Okay… I admit it… I bought a mini. Adorable little plastic daisy on top, fun to play with! And why?

My husband likes it. He says it's sexy. Yuh-huh, sexy. I guess he's missing my old bottle of Victoria's Secret Pink.

Fracas made his eyes bug out. Songes made him ask where that “vanilla syrup” smell was coming from. Chanel Eau Premiere made him wonder if I'd borrowed my mother's perfume. Joy made him wonder whether I'd been borrowing HIS mother's perfume. Organza Indecence caused him to ask if he could have a bowl of that rice pudding. Bois des Iles made him ask, rather testily, why he kept smelling rice pudding when there was clearly no rice pudding available, and when the *^## was I going to make some. Bulgari Black induced him to wonder what in the world the guys had been working on at the auto parts store (where I work, keeping books). Chanel No. 19 caused him to request that I take my ankle boots off, please, and stop stomping around the house in them as if I were an Amazon.

But that sample of Daisy? That got me neck nuzzles. Not to mention ear nibbles, and the kids sent to bed early. Go figure.

I actually kind of like Daisy myself. It's really nice for a rushed morning, or a day when I don't want to have to think about what scent I'm wearing. And I can't wear much interesting stuff to work, obviously, without the guys thinking thoughts about me that I'd rather not have them think. Luckily, I get absolutely no berry from it at all, just grapefruit and greens and fresh florals, with a lightly woody musk.

And a girl's gotta keep the husband happy… especially since he contributed rather generously to the growing sample collection…
