I tried to encompass everything I feel about being feminine…

Does snorting cocaine emcompass being feminine? Sorry…I just never understood the fascination with Kate Moss. So, even if this fragrance is wonderful, I doubt I will even bother to stop and sniff.

Tested this today in Boots. A strong alcoholic hit for the first minutes or so, then… I'm not great at notes, but I got rose and patchouli, and something vaguely citrussy. Not a million miles from Divine's l'Inspiratrice, I'm rather embarrassed to admit.

Never been fascinated w/ her, but she is a beautiful woman and has had some trouble — that seems to be enough to garner the attention needed to sell fragrance!

Seriously? Someone else compared it to Stella, so wasn't expecting anything like Inspiratrice.

I think the Stella comparison is relevant; it's the same kind of 'pale' rose. But where Stella seems a straight floral to me, this has a drier, dirtier edge to it. But then, I don't seem to get quite what others get from l'Inspiratrice or A*maze, the other recent rose/patchouli combos!

Especially amongst environmentalists, I can tell you this promo is politically incorrect. The plant shown in silhouette is teasel, an invasive species that has been designated as a severe threat to natural areas due to its aggressive colonization–that's why you see Moss walking in a field of the stuff. Its flower has no fragrance, and I'm surprised to see her holding a stem as it's thorny. The idiots I have to share this planet with! Sorry. This sort of thing get's me riled.

Interesting, thanks! Sounds worth a try, at any rate.

Supposedly she is standing in a wheat field in Morocco somewhere…does that matter?

I smelt this today in Boots as well! I thought it was ok but not amazing, I can't really offer up a detailed description other than it's rosey but I didn't feel like rose was dominant, I thought it might of been quite musky but I read here someone mentioned patchouli so I couldn't say. I wasn't too excited. I smelt Kelly Caleche in John Lewis! THAT was amazing! The lady gave me a sample and I also sniffed the new Prada which was lovely. I work in Primark and there is a department store directly opposite…..Oh dear!!

Kelly Caleche is a great scent, and I'm liking it even better since reviewing it. Love the Prada too!

Good point. The teasel is a little closer to home in Morocco than it is in Milwaukee since it's said to be Eurasian in origin. But I think it's considered invasive almost everywhere. It made its way around the globe because its thorny seedhead was used in carding wool. As I look across the street, I see a mile-long biculture of invasive species: Just two species, teasel and Japanese knotweed, have consumed acres, displacing perhaps a hundred American species just in my neighborhood and just in my lifetime. Again, sorry for tracking off topic.
