Have not tried the RD fragrances, but since I’m no fan of CC to begin with, that doesn’t sound compelling!

All 3 from trilogy range are dispointlingly poorly packaged, except the blue butterfly bottle. The scandal and Unspoken smell decently luxurious and rich to sort of justify the price tag and rarety. However, they do not come close to Clive Christian’s in complexity. Roja Doves are like reading a short story, while Christians are like reading a lenghty novel. (most commercial ones are like reading a newspaper’s title). Excellent chypre, quite good floral oriental, but still, one would expect more, much more from such an exclusive perfumer, place and price.

I know this post is rather late, but I have just tried Scandal and it is superb – although the only obvious crossover with my beloved 31 rue Cambon appears to be the sandalwood and iris, it has that same delicious silky smooth creaminess. If 31 is my elegant aspirational day scent, Scandal can be my aspirational vampy evening scent. Oh boy, I am an Odalisque on velvet cushions wearing just a string of pearls! (metaphorically speaking, of course…)

Dear all,

There is a bit of confusion here.

The “trilogy” range, Scandal Unspoken and Enslaved is totally different than the “Semi bespoke” range.

First the trilogy is precisely about bringing an upmost quality fragrance to a decent price I agree $700ish is not to anyone's budget but remember that there is the consolation lot for $200. And don't forget our amazing body cream just above the $100 mark. They took us nearly a year of testing since in our formulation no one before has put so much perfume extract in a body cream formulation before ever.

Second, the Semi Bespoke range, includes 8 fragrances and is limited to 50 people. They are sold for £1000 and come in a perfumer's flask of 250ml. These are original works from R. Dove.

I hope this clarifies the situation.
