all of the Salvador Dali fragrances I've tried are extremely good quality, concocted by top “noses”. They sell at low prices but I think that's due to a squeamishness for the surreality of the bottles.

R, I purchased a sample of the first scent described above, called Salvadore by Salvadore Dali, from Scented Monkey. I am going to purchase a bottle soon (it is very reasonably priced. It is a lovely spicy oriental that I find to be pretty light – I would like to spray it to get the full effect, plus the bottle is very unique and cool. Worth checking out, imo

Dalissime is quite sweet, but gorgeous–not gourmand, not really like anything else on the market, actually, even though, if you had to, you would probably call it a fruity floral–apricot in the top note (yum), a sweet rosy middle, and ambergris and sandalwood in the base.

The original Salvador Dali is spectacular: I wore it when it first came out, and I convinced a whole bunch of friends, male and female, to wear it, too. (It was launched in a one-ounce spray for perhaps $24, so it was affordable, and the bottle was of course very desirable, that iconic nose-and-lips flacon.) It's a dark, luscious floral oriental with cedar in the base, giving it a slightly smoky, mysterious drydown.

I've tried only two of the men's Dali scents and neither of them was to my taste.

Well, I have tried a couple… So.. for you to get the pic:

Laguna (Fem): Green acuatic.

Dalissime: Sweet but intriguing drydown

Dalimix: 1996´s attempt to create a CKone Competitor/clone

Le Roi Soleil Homme: The hidden gem!!! Citrus+Rosewood/Geranium drydown.

After that, I haven´t tried any from the line… I gave my brother Laguna Homme for his birthday on 2003, but I can´t remember it´s smell.

There is a new “lips” line (purplelips,rubylips,etc)

I will check this one out when they release it, as they are usually on the budget side.

Had the Pour Homme from Dali'… a million years ago…;-)

Yes they are more popular in Europe I guess than in the Us…

The Pour Homme was really nice… with a lot of tobacco if I remember correctly… and some vanilla.

It is worth a try…
