Bless him, he's such a decent chap for handing out samples so often. I was lucky enough to score one of Reverie Au Jardin, which is a lovely lavender fragrance.
It's a great thing to do – I am equally impressed by the Editions Frederic Malle habit of sending out samples to people who have taken the quiz on their website.
Perfume is both intensely subjective and personal and very expensive. So to have a chance to try something is wonderful. Without my sample I'd never have fallen so hard for Iris Poudre that I just had to have that full bottle.
I agree most wholeheartedly! In this case, the perfume is, I think, still “under development”, so this also gives him a chance to see what people think of it so far.
