It is *not* the natural scent of a beach, and it isn't something I'd wear all the time, but I find it the perfect "scent memory" of an Atlantic coast beach vacation when I was a child. I agree that the software probably takes the fun away from makeup, and no doubt would from scent as well. Most unfortunately, I am out of Mr. Hulots Holiday so can't compare, but going on memory, I like MHH much better. I am not even sure why. MHH really charmed me, and this one just doesn't. I also ordered the 2 ml of Mr Hulots Holiday, to compare and contrast, and last night it seemed maybe a little warmer, but otherwise similar. I realize my descriptions are pretty pathetic, but that's the best I can do right now.
