Where else, indeed

The recent film adaptation of Patrick Süskind's novel Perfume put Grasse back on the map as the world capital of perfumery. Where else can you walk through fields of roses and jasmine, design a signature perfume and eat at one of the Côte d'Azur's best two-star Michelin restaurants?

Wake up and smell the perfume, in last Wednesday's Telegraph, gives advice for tourists visiting Grasse.

And Tauer Perfumes is running a poll to help choose a new bottle design for their Lonestar Memories fragrance. You can see the choices (and vote!) here.

I wished I liked Lonestar Memories enough to vote on that poll. It's way too smokey leather campfire for me. And I do love leather scents. This one didn't resonate for me personally. Sorry!

So far, it is my favorite of his 4 scents. But I don't think you have to love it to help pick the best bottle :-)
