I'm afraid I haven't had the chance to smell it yet. Geo. F Trumper (in the UK) also makes a West Indian Lime, and it is nicely done although not terribly long lasting. Anyway, I eagerly noted this new launch by C&E, as I've been nursing a bottle from the mid-1990s of a discontinued scent of theirs called "Essence of Sicilian & West Indian Lime." I'm not as into it as I once was, but I wondered how this new product would compare. I don't have a C&E store locally here in Santa Barbara, but I'm curious to sample this at some point. I find that a lot of men's scents steer clear of the Lifesaver sweetness and get some interesting tartness into their scents.
