I tried this one and I don't really like it. It smells…. like grass. Not in a goodway either. It's a very plain “floraly” grassy kind of smell, but not really a green floral. It's not worth rushing out and buying. They have much better fragrances on their shelves.

Thanks — I managed to get in there to try Midnight Pomegranate, but not this one yet.

As a former BBW employee, I see what they're doing. Original Honeysuckle used to be the Holy Grail of the semi-annual sales, and people would fight over it. Or, at least, until they caught on and started reproducing it en mass for said sales. Now that the market's saturated, they've got to pull a new trick outta the bag. It's got that overwhelming “fresh” note, interrupted by a little honeysuckle. I guess they went this way to counteract the overly powder sweet, old lady hairdresser scent of the original. Worth the dollar sample bottle to find out that you need to give the twenty dollar bottle a miss.

Thanks, that is interesting — I don't know their line well so had never heard of the Original Honeysuckle. I usually hate “fresh” so doubt I'll like this one, but who knows?

Well I'm glad you did try the Midnight Pom even if you didn't like it. :-)

In case you should happen to try the Wild Honeysuckle and… aren't thrilled, go ahead and give the White Cherry Blossom a try. I was very surprised that Bath and Body works would have some truly amazing fragrances. The three Cherry Blossoms that they have are just fabulous!

bellarosa – I wondered if that is what they were doing. I always wanted to like their original honeysuckle but, like most other honeysuckle scents, it just didn't work for me. I got a small sniff of the new Wild Honeysuckle on Saturday and it seems to be a better version of the old but, you are correct, a sample is in order first.

Ok, will try those also next time I get to the mall…but by & large, I think BBW has a tendency towards *sweet* that doesn't always agree with me :-)

^_^ I understand what you mean. White Cherry Blossom is pretty sweet, however, the Japanese Cherry Blssom isn't sweet at all. But It's quite a heady floral. I like it a lot.
