It vaguely reminds me of Kenzo Amour, yet not. It is softer than I though and overall fairly pleasant. It was not very strong or long lasting, but I would wear it if gifted a bottle. I'm sure CK has been praying for another "CKONE" boom, like the gallons that doused clubs, schools and bookstores in the 90's. A couple of years ago, "CKScene" came and went with no huzzah. I almost question whether CK should actually change their advertising--which, oddly enough, has always been very moody and dull, as you've mentioned, Robin. It's sort of become their bizzare trade dress. Although the CK ad style has passively faded into the background over the past ten years, I wonder if companies like Guess and CK will find a new strength in fashion's moving back to 90's basics ( by the way, I thought Guess' new release smelled too much like Chanel's "Chance", albeit, even sweeter). CK's releases, however, tend to be pretty unique despite their ability to wreak havoc on some noses. "CKONE" may have made many a stomach turn, but I have to admit that it was original for its time--just as I also found "Eternity" to be original for its time, as well. I've actually wondered how CK would made the millenium transition, as the "single" note aquatics/metallic chypres of the 90's were the house's specialty--and any adjustment would change its whole aesthetic.
