Three new fragrances from Heeley: Fine Leather, Spirit of the Tiger & Cardinal

Heeley Spirit of the Tiger fragrance

Heeley has launched three new fragrances:

Cuir Pleine Fleur or Fine Leather features violet, mimosa, birch, soft leather notes and vetiver.

Esprit du Tigre or Spirit of the Tiger is a fragrance “inspired by the traditional Chinese remedy known as Tiger Balm”. Notes include camphor, mint, clove and cardamom.

Cardinal is a “mesmerizing incense blend” with notes of incense, cistus, grey amber, patchouli and vetiver.

All three are available now at luckyscent; $80 for 100 ml of Eau de Parfum.

Cuir Pleine Fleur sounds very interesting. I have yet to try this line.

The idea of a fragrance inspired by Tiger Balm makes me laugh a little, however. I wouldn't be able to wear it without memories of past muscle aches, minor burns, and congestion. ;)

I didn't adore the ones I tried, but these 3 actually sound considerably more interesting. Go read the description of Spirit of the Tiger at luckyscent though…sounds like it is a clove-lovers scent more than a dupe of Tiger Balm (luckily!)

I think the leather one sounds great. Of course. :-)

And of course, of the 3 it interests me the least, LOL…

“Spirit of the Tiger” just stuck me with an earworm of “Eye of the Tiger,” but it's okay… it'll make washing up the dishes tonight seem almost like a heroic action.
I'm kind of with Stanzi – too many memories of sore calves, and I think I might associate the smell too strongly with end-of-the-day aching :P

Thank you Katie, you have just passed that earworm to me.

I'd love to try these, although I must confess that I'm wary of the tiger balm scent too, not due to memories of muscle aches and pains but due to memories of pot smoking. For some inexplicable reason, when I was in college we put tiger balm on our temples when we smoked. Very spiritual.

Glad to have those days behind me.

Ack, trying very, very hard to think of other things — don't want that particular ear worm. Maybe some Tiger Balm on the temples will ward it off…
