And what an interesting layering combo. Don't have any LA Vetiver left, but maybe will try it with some other vetiver, or better yet, D'Orsay Tilleul (similar but without the clean cotton stuff) with something vetiver. A number of people seem to love the latter but it was merely OK on me--and OK does not move me to such an expenditure (still debating whether I want a decant). I bought L'Ete en Douce (AKA Extrait de Songe) on that shopping trip with Keeter; I probably wouldn't have done so, but I discovered--through an accident of very sloppy spraying--that when layered with L'Artisan Vetiver, it is absolutely beautiful on me (and I just happen to have recently swapped for some Vetiver). Not a combination I would have thought of trying, but--wow! Everyone (which is to say, Keet, our other shopping partner, and the SA:) agreed. A shame, because the original bottle was so pretty and whimsical. Speaking of bottles, I just love the etching on these floral harvest bottles, and wish they could do something similar on something, you know, not floral.
