On vacation…

I am off on vacation again. As always, will try to post fragrance news if I can get wireless access, otherwise, look for another perfume review a week from Thursday (9/21).

Wishing everyone a good week, and if you haven't been fragrance shopping lately: get thee to the perfume counters. There is so much new stuff out I can hardly keep up. Over the weekend I managed very quick sniffs of Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir, Desperate Housewives, With Love Hilary Duff, Betsey Johnson, Escada Into The Blue. I also got samples of the new Banana Republic scents, but haven't even opened them yet. Too many fragrances, too little time…

Looking forward to sample the Bulgari.

I have tried Nina Ricci's “Nina” in a recent visit to the perfume counter (also cartier Delices, another Apple inspired bottle/fragrance) Lets say Nina is, for now, the winner for me!!!

Have fun in your vacation and take care!

Still haven't tried the Nina! Liked the Bvlgari but didn't get to try it on skin yet. And thanks :-)

Whilst on holiday pop by Harrods Haute Perfumery and smell the Perfume set created by the noses at Thierry Mugler to celebrate the novel and now film Perfume. Smell Paris 1738, Virgin No1, Amor and Psyche and Atelier Baldini to name just a few. Truly incredible smells that bring the book to life.

    Hi Robin,

The place on the picture seems great. First, it made me think of the weird cathedral in Barcelona, but Windows tells me it's San Miguel.

The Nina is kind and nice, the Bulgari Soir is pretty well done.

I saw on osMoz a news (there's a new 'News' section) about the brand Etat Libre d'Orange. I think I will have to try, it seems quite funny and shocking !

    Happy holidays

San Miguel de Allende, in the state of Guanajuato in Mexico, and it was fabulous, thanks! Let me know how the Etat Libre d'Orange scents are…they don't respond to my emails so guessing I'll never try them.
