New perfumes from Mexx, Avon & Mary Kay

Mexx Ice Touch fragranceMexx will launch Ice Touch, a new fragrance for women, this month. Ice Touch includes aquatic notes, citrus sorbet, black and red pepper, cyclamen, neroli, coriander, spearmint, raspberry, amber, cedar and musk. (via cosmoty.de)

Mary Kay will launch Affection in September:

Housed in a curvy glass bottle, the scent is described as a modern oriental chypre with notes of pink peppercorn, Chinese osmanthus, white peony and amber woods. Mary Kay fragrance experts worked with perfumer Claude Dir from Quest International to develop the scent.

Avon will release Crystal Aura in November. Crystal Aura was “…developed by Bruno Jovanovic at International Flavors & Fragrances and has notes of star fruit, amethyst rose, musk and woods.” (both above via Women’s Wear Daily)

    I am not a fan of Avon's Crystal Aura. It smells alot like their old Be..Kissable, with a musky note. It tends to leave an old lady smell after a while of being on you. I was dissapointed. The necklace it comes with is gorgeous though! Gotta love those Swarovski Crystals!!

    I used to sell Avon (just recently quit). My 2 favorite perfumes by them are Karmala and Surreal!!

    Oh, also their Driven (for Men) cologne smells wonderful! I know Robin likes oakmoss and this has oakmoss in it!!! It's wonderful!!

    Yeah, they have some on ebay for pretty cheap (cheaper than it's going to be in the catalog for!). It smells so good!

    I tried Mexx Ice Touch (I believe there is one for men as well) and I was impressed by it. A lot more interesting then many clothing store perfumes I've tried.
