Poor neglected little guy...I will wear this tomorrow to make up for it. Fully agree on Flowerbomb and Alien...I was disappointed with both after all the hype they received. But to mention another celeb frag, I thought Lovely was marketed rather smartly. Just a tinge of celebrity gawking at SJP, but not losing the focus on the scent itself. It will not convert new fans to Amarige, but for those that already love it, it is a nice excuse to purchase this LE rather than a bottle of the regular stuff. And not too terribly obnoxiously higher priced than the regular, either. It's certainly worth a look-sniff for Amarige fans, though I honestly doubt anyone but previous fans of that scent will care too much. The Givenchy Amarige one is really quite lovely. It is a very strange smell, but I do love it. I know very well that it isn't universally liked (major understatement) so I am only wearing it at home. It was hard to keep a straight face, but it wasn't as snotty as I thought it would be. I liked the Jardenia, but early in the morning I can see how it would be a bit much, LOL!
