Love this perfume! All of Escada's summer limited editions are very nice and sweet ;) Very good summer fragrances! Even in winter, you'll get that summer feeling when using the perfume!

Welcome! Can't think of anything *exactly* like the Escadas in EdP, and since sweet & fruity isn't my favorite category, I may not be much help. Have you tried Miss Dior Cherie?

Hi, I'm new here.

To be honest I love the sweet fruity scents of Escada's limited edition fragrances (Rockin' Rio being my favourite) however I can't seem to find this scent in an eau de parfum form (the closest I can get is J. Lo Live). Does anyone know any scents that are similar?

I'm real interested in this year's edition.

Actually, I find this terribly effective and addictive (please, help....me!) as I find myself trying to collect every one of them. Good for them but bad for me. It's a higly expensive habit.

Perhaps it isn't terribly expensive: they've used the same old Escada bottle, and am guessing they don't invest the same time or money developing the fragrance that say, Chanel did 50 years ago. I remember reading a very old quote from Estee Lauder -- she said basically that you had to give a new perfume a couple of years to find its audience. We know the big companies don't do that any more!

The Escada sounds nice - they always do - but I agree with IrisLA - why do they keep doing this? It must be terribly expensive to keep creating and marketing all these short-run fragrances that just go away at the end of the season. I have yet to find one of theirs memorable, so I guess that's the point. I am a fan of classic fragrances - if I like something, chances are it has been around for 50 years, and for a good reason.

Yes, you have, you just don't realize it. For example, you've heard The Police's Every Breath You Take, right? Now just imagine listening to it with some idiot groaing mumbles and words over the top of it. That is pretty much it as far as his "songwriting" goes.
