New corporate fragrance for Samsung & other perfume news

Samsung Electronics has developed a signature corporate fragrance called Intimate Blue, a “fresh, fruity aroma” designed to “evoke Samsung's cobalt blue logo”. It is not for sale, but you can smell it in the Samsung Experience store in NYC. (via Time Magazine, 10/10/2005)

British pop star Sir Cliff Richard has released his second perfume. The first, called Miss You Nights, was “a warm floral-oriental scent containing rose, jasmine and ylang ylang, combined with the woody scent of sandalwood”. His latest is Dream Maker, with citrus, peach, rose, geranium, magnolia, heliotrope, amber and ginger. Both scents are available from Starscents. (via the Official Sir Cliff Richard Website)

Creating a corporate signature in fragrance seems to be the next big thing…I know several boutiques now pipe in a signature fragrance, and the nose Michel Roudnitska has done some work in this area.

If I had the time, I would try making that Turkish Delight. It sounds really good and mouthwatering.
