I will admit to wearing fragrances with a lot of weird names, but I do not think I could wear one named Mandarina Duck :) Cool looking bottles though…

Oh, Flower Oriental sounds really interesting. I love the notes, and of course the mention of agarwood incense is all I need. :)

I am so glad to hear Ted Lapidus has a new scent. I think it's been awhile. My mum used to love one of his scents (cannot remember which, one of his first) and I must get her a bottle of Silk Way now.

Ooh, I love those cute, happy-looking yellow bottles! And the notes sound interesting, too. This is something I would try, even if the name is a bit wacky, I mean quacky! Yuck, yuck. :)

Also, except for the wild strawberry, I love the notes in the new Fragonard. I wonder what a mandarin, pear, violet, blackberry mix would smell like?

A, I don't know how popular this brand is in Italy, but I think they are considered fairly trendy. Agree it sounds odd in English…and don't know when/if this is coming to the US.

Yes, I am not a huge fan of Kenzo Flower but the incense part is intriguing.

R, The packaging is lovely, and I'll try anything with jasmine tea! Suspect the Fragonard will be too sweet & fruity for me, but will certainly try it too…although Fragonards are going to be much harder to get now that they're not selling in retail stores here.

M, I don't think I've ever tried anything by Ted Lapidus!

I tried the MD last week and found it quite pleasant – kinda sunny and fruity in the topnotes and with a warm sweet resinous base. Could definitely be unisex and might just be bottleworthy…and that's saying a lot coming from Mr. Snob…er, I mean…me.

The Kenzo sounds interesting…I'll give it a try – the others…”eh”.

M, hope the MD makes its way to the US eventually, that sounds very much worth trying!

Mandarina Duck is out here- and is so very disappointing. It's a perfumey mess that is too strong on ozonic and metallic notes. Yuck !

I think the Mandarina Duck looks adorable! I 'm eager to try it. Thanks for the report, Ms. NST.

I am such an inveterate goofball that I immediately thought “Duck a la Orange” with that name, and got hungry.

Thanks for commenting — ozonic is a warning sign for me :-)

LOL — and people are seeing the new Youth Dew Amber Nude as “Amber Dude”. It must be that kind of day…

I actually found the Mandarina Duck on Strawberrynet.com at $43. for the 1.7 oz. EDT spray.

    Ever ordered from Strawberrynet.com?

I have not — try a board search on MUA, I am sure I have read something about them but it might have been a mix-up with customs and not a problem with strawberrynet.
