"Original" implies to me an older formula too, to distinguish from something new. I think it is a strange marketing tactic, and liable to confuse consumers looking to repurchase a scent they have been wearing for years. K, I didn't think so at all!

I see what they are doing now. By "original", they are implying that this fragrance is an unusual new approach to sandalwood. I jumped to the conclusion that they were rereleasing their very first sandalwood fragrance from however many centuries ago created for whatever famous person. I'm totally over Creed.
