Yes, you figured it out! Sorry, I'm at POL usually. I need to check in more often now.

You will be amazed, I promise. And no soot to worry about, or if you left a candle burning. They even make warming plates now with little lights built into the bottom, so you can still get a candle “glow”.

Most glass or metal candles can sit right on the warmer. I have a lot of votives, and for those I use the smallest pyrex bowls, and melt them in there. After they cool, you can pop them in the fridge for a few minutes and the wax pops right out. :O)

ok, got it—it is an electric apparatus shaped like a disc that heats up jar candles enough so they emit their fragrance. I think to avoid the possible danger of an open flame and burning wick, perhaps?

To really make the most of your candles, you should try using a candle warmer. With a warmer you can fill the whole house with fragrange from a single candle. I love the Ergo Soy Silver line.
